This is the first game that hasn't been followed by responses good or bad within hours! What can we do to help the team get that first win, because if we don't soon we shall be rapidly following Maesteg's fall into the lower leagues and with it the loss of rugby union in this hotbed of talent.

Couldn't get to the game but talking to a few people today we weren't sharp behind or at the breakdown and our discipline was really poor again giving away lots of penalties. We desperately need to improve our play at the breakdown and like others have said in the past few weeks it might be an idea to get a ref in to talk to the players in training.
From what I was told we really need to get Mark David fit before next week to help give us direction and get Gareth Howells back as well. Whatever he may have done or not done during the week people seem a bit shocked that he didn't come on towards the end of the game at outside half if not at centre. I was told we were hammering their line needing a try to win. He has been our best back so far this season and without Mark David he is the only one who looks capable of crossing the gain line regularly.

All games are won up front, and every game this season so far we have been second best in that department. We
have been bigger than the opposition, but can't clear rucks and aren/t physical enough in contact.I think in time the coaches will be fine, but there is an obvious need for a forwards coach.

Gareth wasnt given a reason as to why he wasnt played until today.. they were giving other boys a run out... he hadnt done anything wrong he just wasnt played.. i dont know why they thought he'd be better on the bench for the entire match ?? puzzles me

Myself and a few around were calling for him to be brought on at 10 in the second half. Nothing against young Tom but the Carmarthen 10 looked weak and small and I think your boy running at him would have scared the be-jeebus out of him!!
Having said that there were probably a myriad of other things to take into account that we couldn't see from our position!

It wasn't a great performance at all. Whats up with us missing kicks at goal so much?
We needed to use Mike Davies more, and I think we need to use him more every game in general. The guy always breaks tackles and Carmarthen couldn't cope with him. The kicking was poor out of hand too, I definately think that Gareth should have been bought on 10 to kick off the tee and to smash the hard hards. Anyway, despite the poor performance we were a yard short of winning it.. lets hope we can get the ball rolling next week against the money boys Tonmawr!!

he must be. they can hardly hold him accountable for our back play against corus. our forwards didn't produce any quick ball. he was outstanding against felinfoel. he needs a run of games with our pack playing well at the breakdown if we are to see what he can bring to our outside backs.
im not having a go at hancock I just don't think he's got mark's vision or passing ability.
