Our squad looks completely crippled at the moment, if Maiden has gone to Pooler, that would mean we currently have no second-rows. (Tom Evans has left too)

We got to find a hell of a lot of players, Hocking is a decent signing, we can't sign a bunch of youngsters because the only way we would be heading is relegation.  Although, Hocking is heading to retirement, we need a flood of expericened players from somewhere.

Rumour has it that Gareth Edwards (Prop) has joined us from Maesteg, but this is far from official. Just a wee rumour I'd heard.

Agree that Second Rows are a priority. With Bird gone, Mike P gone, Kyle Maiden, and Tom Evans rumoured to be leaving, let's hope we can find some decent cover.

Mind you, we could always utilise Dai Dobbs!

Seem to be signing all the players from a relegated team, relegated because they were consistantly poor!!!
Sadly the Ravens don't seem to be moving in the right direction!

We'll see when the squad signings are released.
Safe to say that the management are striving harder than anybody for a successful future for The Ravens.

Karl Hocking has been a great player over the eyars but I don't think he's got the pace for the premiership now.

But with Bird/Mike P/Tom/Kyle Maiden going we are left with NO locks.
There aren't many in the area of premiership quality either.

Steff Jones would have been a  good signing but he's been snapped up by Swansea I see.

Priority has to be for some big, useful and nasty forwards.

We can't play 16 year-olds, Bridgend would end up in Divison 1! Bridgend Sports impossible their Division 5, Athletic no love lost between the clubs shall we say.

Whatever talent there is in Bridgend, they are with the Ospreys, with no doubt there will be a couple of boys turning out for us in the future.

Look, whoever we sign, it is those players that our club believes are of benefit and are going to help Bridgend move away from the danger zone.  If the club thinks signing a 34-year old from Maesteg is going to help us achieve that, then brillant!  Let's see what happens!
