Ponty 31-10 Ravens

I thought we played well yesterday despite the scoreline and the result flattered Ponty - the pleasing thing was that all gave 100% and didnt give up.

Ponty were deserved winners but had a couple of lucky tries which gave them the 21 point wn.

I honestly think that if we can keep the majority of our youngsters we can be a force next season.

Yep, my sentiments exactly. This season has been a learning curve for the likes of Rory P, Ryan B, Scott B, and hopefully, it will make them stronger for next year. If, as mentioned in the local rag today that Millward is on his way, then surely he can only be a benefit to the youngsters, especially the forwards. Gareth Howells had another decent game at 10, while Dale Newell likes to put himself about a bit, which is always good to see. In the mould of a certain Cory Harris!

Let's hope for a good pre-season, a settled squad, and a better season next year. Quite frankly, I can't wait for it!
