our 'friends' in the westjust back from sainsburys where I had an interesting chat with one of our players.this is the support we are receiving from the ospreys. 1. priday was pulled on the morning of the game last week as he had 20mins off the bench for swansea the day before. 2. gareth williams ex bridgend hooker who still loves this club took a session pre season. he isn't allowed to take any more in case he poaches any of our players for the blues. what right have they got to choose our coaches? 3. our allocated thursday training slot at llandarcy has been given to swansea. i would hate to suggest that this so called partnership is becoming a little one sided but basically they don't give a s..t about us! don't say you weren't warned! |

we should now be treated the same as the ath, tonmawr, corus etc as we are in that league so thats probably why they are doing it. | ||

 Why don't we tell them to Cough, we are not in their region anymore.
And more fool us for listening to them, or are we just afraid of upsetting them. Or are they hoping that if they do ring fence the 1st division, then we won't be in it.

I can understand them taking Prydie away from us to play for Swansea, as he sounds too good to play Div 1, but doing it at such short notice is not on. Gareth Williams has helped out with a few scrummage coaching sessions for a few seasons so I don't understand why they have suddenly decided he can't, unless it's only now they know about it? As for the Llandarcy thing, I assume that's reserved for their Premiership clubs, and we have to accept that we aren't one of those any longer. We can't have the likes of the Ath, Tonmawr, Corus etc complaining about us getting specialist treatment - the other clubs did enough of that last year! I'd say being given Bevington in the Narberth game was a big help, but again that caused uproar and the coaches at the Ath were prepared to complain to anybody that would listen. |

Maybe the Osprey should be sorting their own problems out instead of sticking their nose in ours.
They were booed of by their own fans last saturday. How long before they reduce the regions to 3, or the WRU goes down Rugby League's way of thinking and gives licence's for 3 or 5 years at a time. |

Bevington was allowed to play for us as he hadnt signed an Ospreys contract at the time and as Aberavon didnt want him he offered to play for us.
As for our help from the Ospreys last year it seems to be Swanseas turn now. According to their forum they had 8 Ospreys on Saturday. I wonder how many complaints there will be about that. Still no one seemed to mind the NINE Scarlets registered players who played for Llanelli in last seasons cup final! |

I think everyone knows that but bevington was NOT an ospreys player at that time so he WAS available for anyone. he chose bridgend. |
