Next season

So our coach has gone-who next i wonder?

Zac has signed(good) is he going to play on his own-ive heard of other signings but nothing posted -why?.It would be nice to have weekly updates as to who we have signed even if its only one player- at least we are then in the loop.

The season has been over two weeks. We've announced two players - which goes along with your one a week Wink

We're wording press releases for the others so news will follow very shortly.

I think he is better wider out at center maybe even at 15.
We need to bring in a solid controlling 10 i feel.

Well the signings and resigning's are coming thick and fast so much better than last season.
It is also good to see that we have more than 2 coaches as I have always felt that the other Premiership teams had an advantage over us influencing Touch Judges and Referees on either side of the pitch whilst our 2 coaches were in the stand. But there is caution because other premiership teams have retained their coaches and as we know from previous seasons a new team takes time to bed in. I also have a concern that the majority of our coaches have not had much experience of the Premiership.
We seem to have signed a committed and talented backline that looks  very exiting with both young and experienced players and should do well if given decent ball.
I also have a worry about the forwards as our packs in recent seasons have taken heroic battering's playing with great heart but have always been out muscled, we need experienced bulk in all three rows.
Other than the above concerns the green shoots are definitely there.

Totally agree GHR with all your points. The pack did play pretty well last year but are lacking in the Grunt that the top teams have.
Im now really looking forward to the coming season as it should be better than last year.Good luck to our new coaches-hope they can blend into a formidable unit just like the players.

Next season

Are there any friendly planned as I see on other web site they have got some local and in England it would be nice to get planning prior to the start. Also I have notice over the last few days names no face and no other detail other more news will follow. It is on the main page, my question is are they new players or someone you are still considering again nice to Clarified.thank

This is more like it - always said that Bridgend has plenty of young talent coming through and should be playing for the Ravens rather than us rely too much on the regional players.

Coaching team looks great too - promising mix who will hopefully 'aggressively coach' the refs and touch judges like other teams do so well.

Nice to see the old boys returning to add some experience - just a few more older heads here and there to add some nous and we look like a well balanced team.

Great stuff.  Very Happy
