Felinfoel - Who's going?OK, it's our first prooper away game this weekend.
( I don't count Newbridge Fields as going away)
We need as many people as possible there supporting the team.
Anyone know what the Felinfoel ground is like?
Will I be able to wear my new wellies?

I will be there, with Dai and Robert .
Anyone going down by train, then the ground is about a mile and half from the town centre.

Felinfoel 28- 27 Bridgend. But with four tries you got one bonus point plus a losing bonus point.

That's not really any consolation, with a penalty count of about 22 - 6, that ref was never going to allow us to win.
He even gave an extra 10 yards for someone looking at him wrongly.
Very frustrating for the boys as they played well today, and deserved the win.

Hi ladyraven.... how did our lineout do today.? and did the backs use the ball better.?
also we must have missed 2 conversions are kicks costing us games do we need to bring in a kicker.? for example IF hancock didnt miss the conversion against narbeth and the 3 kicks against the ATH and the conversions today we would be 3-0(wins.?
I dont think there is any need to panic is the boys performed today we have picked up 4 points in the three games and been competitive also we beat Rumney who are un defeated and have maximum points in the east league ie try bonus points from each game so we cant be far off..!!

It was all a bit messy, lineouts were good, scums were just unpredictable, we did turn a few mind which was good to see.
The conversion that was missed was from wide out. I thought Mark David kicked well from the tee and out of hand. No need to bring in someone, we have Bomber, Hancock, Epton, Ricky Williams who can all kick off the tee, whats the need? You can't put down the missed kicks to us losing games, thats ridiculous.
I'm not panicking anyway, I'm encouraged (and pretty annoyed at the referee!) after todays game. The backs are fantastic when they get going. Anyone who says Bombay and Mike can't play together is the center is mad!
Rumney was only a friendly though, I don't read too much into friendlies!

i know the ath youi cant really but down to the kicks but that conversion against narbeth defo cost us the game..!!
well they better get practising as the success rate must only be around 50% and it should be at around 70-80%
i know rumney was a friendly but they came down wanting to win to get our scalp.
im not panicking we just need a win to get a huge confidence boost and i think we shall be a better team then.
i heard there was good bridgend support there today.?

Really gutted we did'nt hold onto this game, we threw this one, however, it was miles better than last week, line-outs very good, scrums were suspect, when the backs got going we were firing! All pretty encouraging, only negative was the discipline, which cost us countless penalities and eventually cost us the game.
Both Felinfoel tries could have been avoided, sadly the ref missed the crossing and then the forward pass for their first one and then a charge down for their second. But they played very well themselves. Corus is a must win!

Yes there was quite a few supporters from Bridgend there today, which was pleasing, a credit to the club! (just need them to book their places on the supporters bus!)
No need to panic yet, but we desperately need a win very quickly, Corus is a must win!

LOL you all blame the Ref but sadly that will be the standard of Ref's in div 1 you just have to play them
to say that the kicks cost you the game against the Ath is mad dont forget morris missed 3 for the Ath and he normally kicks everything
things will come together but i watched corus against the ath they a big side and i cant see us winning that one, hope im wrong
