'WHAT DO THE OSPREYS DO FOR BRIDGEND?'

Was it just me who didn't appreciate the tone of the web site lecture entitled ''WHAT DO THE OSPREYS DO FOR BRIDGEND?'' - implying as a club how lucky we were, how little we appreciated how lucky we are and why don't we stop stop moaning all the time about a lack of support from Ospreys. Perhaps it was just me - and I am just a miserable s** - as it hasn't triggered any other reaction. It took me back to my school days and the Headmaster telling the year group how lucky were .....

What would you expect from an Ospreys employee, the bit about Ospreys not charging Us for Ospreys contracted players is a joke,it would be a scenario of the Ospreys charging the Ospreys, please don't treat loyal supporters as idiots,I supported the club since John Lloyd era and now personally it will be the last season for me as I am sick to death of the whole Big Brother Regional dictatators running and influencing the Welsh Premiership, back to the Cyw for me next season

For a true reflection of how Bridgend is virtually extinct and how we are now the 'O's training team, see where our 'coup of the summer' signing Sam Underhill is playing his rugby.

The press release on 11 August on this very site clearly states that he has signed for the Ravens who presumably paid his signing on fee and wage, yet he goes straight into the 'O's team before even pulling on a Ravens shirt (apart from the promo picture) and stays there even when their big guns come back. He is on their bench this week.

Yep, real coup for the Ravens that was. And before anyone even tries sticking up for the 'O's and saying that we should be grateful that our players are 'climbing the representation ladder', NO - he is a Ravens player first and foremost and should at least play a couple of games for the club he signed for before being cherry picked higher up.

Unless of course there was always the intention that he would go straight there and his signing for the Ravens was meant to flatter a pretty poor recruitment stint during the summer? Who knows - the O's management I would bet!!

Plus, anyone who saw the Swansea game pre-season could see that Steve Winn changed that game on coming on at half time and rescued a dreadful performance but when we were getting knocked about and hammered in our first games, he was deemed surplus to requirements - it would be funny if it wasn't so darn harmful to our dwindling club.

What a absolute joke we have become- "That's what the Ospreys have done for us"!!!!!
