Seeing as how you are all so shy, I'll go first. I was born in Bridgend in 1963, and moved to Ireland when I left school in 1979. Can't remember the 1st game I went to, but the last was away to Aberavon just before I moved. I was last in Bridgend in 1988. I found the site when I googled Bridgend RFC looking for a rugby top. (Didn't find one). That's about it. Hello all, and COME ON THE RAVENS |

Hi I'm Baldraven, LIved in Bridgend since 1970. MOved away for job committements. Then returned in 1994. Always supported the Bridge where ever I have been and always will. I have converted my youngest and wife into supporting and may this continue. Yes it would be nice to have BIG teams turn up now again at the BF.

Ron Chalmers
Born in Glasgow a long time ago.
Moved to Wales as a youngster ending up in Bridgend and then Porthcawl.
Went to Bridgend Grammar School and played for the school teams from Under-15s upwards.
Not sure of my first Ravens game but it was probably in 1959. Became hooked in the early 1960s when Bridgend were the best team around with guys like Roddy Evans, Ken Richards and Fred Mitchell in the team. Then came a real golden era with Glen Landeg, Ron Evans, Keith Bradshaw, John Lloyd, Gary Protheroe and so many more.
More than success, it was the style that attracted me and I've been hooked ever since although I played all my rugby for Porthcawl. |

| I have watched bridgend since the age of 2 with my dad (Dai Crocombe) growing up in a masive rugby town I watched the ravens home and away, since the age of 9 i have always wanted to become a physio and the ultimate dream to work for bridgend, with Richard Evens (dikky phiz) being a massive influence on me when i was younger to become a physio. |

Hi I'm Rugbywife , i have only been a raven for a few months , my hubby started playing for Bridgend in August 2007. I was born in 1982 and am originally from Heolycyw, but i now live in Pencoed. i have always loved sport and used to (not so long ago) swim for wales. my mum has 8 brothers , all of them played rugby and one of them played very successfully for bridgend for i think 450 games or more. His name is Derek Brain. My brother played for heolycyw as did my dad and husband and my cousin Micheal plays with the ospreys. i have always been brought up with rugby , it is in my blood and hopefully it will continue with my three boys , two of which are hooked on football at the moment .... but im sure that will pass!!!!!! it better!! come on Ravens your doing well! |

Born a few yards from the Brewery Field at the General Hospital in 1975. First game was in 1979 but can't remember against who, next week went to an away game against Newbridge and was hooked.
Started by taking the oranges onto the pitch, progressed to getting the balls off the roof, got to man the old manual scoreboard (Even though Sony knowed the score). Progressed to supplying the pre-match music before moving away.
Played for the under 10's and still wear retro Bridgend Shirts around sunny West Yorkshire. Still very bitter that top flight rugby union is not played in the hot bed of rugby talent. |

We do usually run buses when economically viable. Usually about £5 to £7 for adults. By the way if you look at the Crusaders site you and I are the same person. I never knew that! Idiots the lot of them! |
