I am surprised that I am the 1st to post this but does anyone know what happened 5 years ago today?
Yes 5 years ago today the Ravens won the Final Welsh Professional Club Championship after beating Neath 22-13 at the Brewery Field.
A great day which on 1 hand seems like only yesterday but on the other feels like such a long long time ago.
The memories however will always be fresh.

and the BBC doing the utmost to get rid of you simon and then being karted off to the ambulance. Seems like yesterday. Especially afterwatrds upsatirs when all the fans could go upstairs to Rafters.

Next season will be a good one, hopefully. We are the true fans who have followed the team through everything. We will be back to the glory days someday. It would be great for us to win the league, even though its only semi pro now

That was a good one! I enjoyed us thrashing Llanelli for a few years as well. 6 or 8 times running was it?
My abiding memories of that match against Neath were you being shunted aside by the BBC cameraman and collapsing in a heap AND the LS interview afterwards, when he came out with the immortal line "the most expensive vase, I've ever bought".
When Llanelli won the professional title, they collected a million pounds! Leighton had a piece of crystal from the WRU.
Oh, I just remembered something else about the win over Neath. John the Cannuck and Horse were a bit pleased as well .....

Hi all, yes a great day it was May 24 2003.
I was on the bob bank with my camera and got this memorable shot, most of you will have probably have seen this photo before, but every time I see it, it takes me back to to that wonderful occasion !!
